iSage Boiler and Cooling Tower Installation at Coyote Springs Power Plant

Half Moon Bay, CA November 20 2003--iSagacity, Inc., a leading supplier of Intelligent Process Monitoring technology, today announced that it has received an order to install it’s Remote Manager, Boiler and Cooling tower monitoring technology at the Coyote Springs Power Plant in Boardman, Oregon. Coyote Springs Unit 1 is a 250 megawatt station owned and operated by Portand General Electric. Coyote Springs Unit 2 is a 280 megawatt station owned by Avista and Mirant and operated by Portland General Electric. At Coyote Springs, iSagacity has partnered with Nalco Company (http://www.nalco.com) to provide around the clock chemistry monitoring services. iSagacity will configure and maintain its monitoring technology and Nalco will receive alerts from the system when performance has degraded or an abnormal condition is identified.
Remote Manager is iSagacity’s Internet based data management tool accessed through a secure web site hosted in the iSagacity data center. iSage Boiler and Cooling Tower work with Remote Manager and are designed for advanced monitoring and diagnostics of boiler, steam cycle and cooling system performance in industrial or power boiler installations. Measured and calculated parameters are monitored and alerts can be set for key parameters using Remote Manager. iSage Boiler and Cooling Tower use an advanced pattern recognition algorithm for early detection of abnormal conditions and diagnoses of many common water chemistry and system problems.
